In Home Therapy

School Based Therapy

School Based Therapy

We have found that In-Home Therapy is the most beneficial form of therapy for the family unit. In a familiar setting, clients experience a consistent routine and parents are able to manage behaviors better. Comfortability and consistency achieve confidence and all three are key factors in achieving target goals. Our face-to-face one-on-one treatment allows clients to work through their challenges while being rewarded for skills mastery. We work with the family’s schedule to accommodate the best times for care. Our convenient, comprehensive, compassionate service is what sets us apart.

School Based Therapy

Good Care ABA Therapy services children ages 2-21 years old; many of whom are attending or will attend school or a daycare facility. We customize our plan of care to the school or daycare setting to accommodate our clients. Managing on task behaviors, social skills and tantrum reduction are where we focus our care in the school setting. Having a therapist there to work with our clients one-on-one while the teacher gives instruction helps both the client and the teacher to create an environment that fosters retention, inclusion and productivity. Our therapist and technicians are able to identify weaknesses and create strategies to overcome challenges in the classroom.

Social Skills Groups

Social Skills Groups

We use libraries and other local recreation facilities to host small meet groups on Saturday mornings. Our social skills groups are split into two sessions based on age. Our first session is for our older client group (ages 13-18); which is held from 10am - 12pm. Our late noon Saturday session is for our younger clients (ages 6-12) from 12pm - 2pm. We conduct interactive projects and group discussions. Our goal is to help clients initiate and engage in meaningful conversation and activity. We also focus on body language and eye contact. Our social skills groups are designed to improve interaction and build strong relationships.
